The Ala Moana Beach Park is just steps from the western edge of Waikiki and right before the _____ marina. It’s a huge beach park that is walkable from Waikiki, but frees you from the crowded Waikiki Beach area. As a result you’ll see quite a few locals here and not nearly as many tourists.
Stand up paddle boarding is popular here along with weekend picnics.
The Ala Moana Beach Park is located directly across the street from the Ala Moana Shopping Center so if you feel like shopping then hitting the beach this may be a great one two combination.
