Waikiki Activities

With so many Waikiki activities to keep you busy, it’s pretty much impossible to get bored on the island. Waikiki tailors to the urban adventurer who enjoys the city life, but still wants to feel like they’re in Hawaii. Nowhere else on the islands will you feel so much of the urban vibe and melting pot of cultures than Waikiki.

I’ve listed some of the many Waikiki activities that both tourists and locals alike participate in. This list should keep you pretty busy, it too me a loooong time to write this, so it’ll take you quite a while to get through this many ideas as well!

Scuba Diving – If you’re a scuba fanatic like me then jump in the waters near Waikiki to find wrecks and wildlife just steps from the city. You won’t have to travel far to explore the waters of Waikiki, but if you want a full breadth of dive sites on the island beyond Waikiki also check out the Oahu scuba guide.
Shopping – Waikiki is by far the best place on the Hawaiian island to shop. The whole district could be said to be a huge shopping center. From small shops and countless ABC stores, to the DFS Galleria with the likes of Gucci, Prada and more. Honestly, I’m not a big shopper, but if I was, Waikiki would be heaven for me.
