One of the cool things about Waikiki are the street performers. Although they often change there are dozens of them out on any given night, working hard to seperate you from your money by entertaining, amazing, or singing to you.
Some of the common Waikiki street performers include:
The silver guy
The gold guy
The newspaper guy
Ukulele guy – Troy Fernandez
You’ll often see troy set up on the corner of Kalakaua and Seaside strumming his Ukulele. I could site and listen to him for hours. Listen to him play “somewhere over the rainbow” below.
You’ll find all kinds of musicians (some good, some not so good), card trickery, face painting, portrait painting, and more.
Where are all the street performers? Waikiki street performers will be located up and down Kalakaua Ave. and generally come alive after dark.
